Simon started out making documentaries for the BBC covering themes of sex, identity, celebrity and technology. He received a Royal Television Society nomination for his episode of the acclaimed BBC series A Very British History - with Ken Hom, Shu Lin, Damian Le Bas and Meera Sodha

Simon's next project body count, is about the wild world of social media and dating apps - with real world TikTokers inc. Chezablonde and Bennyjeee taking the lead. This hot new series turns the real and relatable experiences of Gen Z into dramatic narratives, to combine current conversations with pop culture in a dark, comic and relevant way.

“body count is about the expendable world of content creators and dating apps. All the stories are real and all of the dialogue comes from the creators and their content.

"I'm fascinated by creator culture and think we’ve  entered a crossover in film, television and digital where filmmakers and their visual grammar is increasingly informed by everyday creators; each of them has the power of an entire film studio in their pocket, and the potential to tell funny or thought-provoking stories in just a few clicks.

"I want to find a middle ground where filmmakers and content creators can collaborate to create socially and culturally relevant films that speak to a new generation of digital natives."
