SYNOPSIS
BMX is relentless, action-packed, off-road bike racing that catapulted to the world stage when its debut at the 2008 Beijing Olympics. Since then - new clubs, tracks and competitions have sprung up all over the country.
This summer, Team GB has a very real chance of winning their first gold medal in the sport, but following the widespread threat of the coronavirus pandemic, the hopes of thousands of olympic athletes now remain uncertain.
